Sorry to say that the Little Rock Marathon has probably been one of my least favorite marathons that I've participated in. I'm curious to know others' thoughts about the likes and dislikes of this years marathon? I did like the reasonable entry fee compared to other marathons, I liked the expo, and loved all the crowd support on the course. I was less than impressed though with the course. I really didn't care much for running along the trolley tracks on both sides of the river, a lot of the roads were rutty, and there was a lot of debris on the road in the 19-21 mile area. I thought there was plenty of room on the road and don't really know why we were running on the golf cart path from 21-23? The post race refreshments (or lack of) were about the worst I have ever seen after a marathon.

I wouldn't rule out doing this one again in the future, just curious to know about others' experiences?

Course-wise, its not my favorite, but I definitely don't recall the "debris section".

This was my 5th Little Rock and 165th marathon overall. I have NEVER run a marathon that was PERFECT,and I never expect to.

The course for Little Rock is one of the best, it is challenging, but a fair course. I didnt see the debris on the course that was mentioned either.

The Little Rock marathon does so many thing not only right, but above average compared to many LARGER marathons.
