Just out of wondering how many of us have done all 7 of the Little Rock Marathons? I know a couple of years ago the number was right around 30.

I have kept an unofficial list since the LRM did a 5th year anniversary edition. I believe my list is more accurate than the one posted 2 years ago as I have included people who have registered under two names, ie Mike or Michael, Jeff or Jeffrey - and I know of one who had a name change due to a marriage and there is another whose first and last name can be reversed.

Anyway, after this 7th marathon of the LRM - I have a list of 36 who have completed every LRM.

This could be a last marathon standing contest - huh ?????

I've done all 7. Last year I did it without training and it looks to be that way again this year. Early start, 8 hours, I may can pull it off for #8.

I have done all 7. Someone said they had a list of all the people that had completed 5. If we had that list, it would be pretty easy to manually go through and see who had done the last few.

Here is the "unofficial" list I have kept over the years. Mine is more inclusive than the LRM records, as some runners sign up with a different name ie Mike or Michael, Edward or Ed and the LRM does not catch them.

That should be 36 that have done all 7. Sure would like to see all of them for number 8.

I saw in the paper that Tony Sherrod died this week at the age of 41 (he was one of the ones that had done all of the marathons). Might be nice if we wore an armband this next year to remember him. Running the LR marathon every year was in his obituary so I know he and his family must have been proud about it and I am sure they would appreciate him being remembered.

in response to my own post, I was originally thinking that just those of us that had completed the marathon would wear something.. but if the whole marathon wants to do something that would be good as well... either way
