A friend of mine just found this image on the Internet. Evidently, the
economy has forced the Russian palace guards to go with less expensive
uniforms.
Pictured
below is Palace Guard Alanski Sheppardova, proudly wearing his
ArkansasRunner.com shirt. Mr. Sheppardova, through a translator,
indicated the shirts are quite a hot item on the black market. He said
he traded 3 gallons of Yak milk and a quart of vodka for his shirt.
Mr.
Sheppardova is a Yak herder when not guarding the Palace. The
difficult work evidently accounts for his runner's physique.
