How do I list my race on the calendar?

There is an online form provided for this purpose. It is appropriately named the List Race Form and a text link to it is under the "Features" heading on the home page at upper right. All race information requested in the form is required.

Your race information is not posted immediately after form submission. It is reviewed before being uploaded. You may be contacted to verify your information.

How can I get my race results posted?

ArkansasRunner.Com will post the results of any race if the data is provided in the proper file format. Requirements are as follows:

  1. Race results should be e-mailed as an attached Microsoft Excel file.
  2. All runners must be included. Partial results or award lists will not be posted. All runners in your race deserve recognition.
  3. List all runners in chronological order. Do not include males/females or runners/walkers in the same list. Separate all finishers by gender and division.
  4. Include as much data for each runner as possible, i.e., name, city, state, age and finish time. Only name and time do not make for a good page presentation.
  5. Use Proper Case. ALL UPPER CASE or all lower case data should be reformatted.
  6. Include your Race Name, City and State (2 letter abbreviation) and the date of your event.
  7. A properly formatted, downloadable template file is provided for your convenience. To download, open and modify this file, you must have Microsoft Excel installed on your computer.

Examples of printable entry forms can be found on the Entry Forms page. Review the existing examples for format and necessary data. You may add or delete data cells on the form as you wish. Should you want one, e-mail all relevant data. Your entry form will be uploaded for your review and you will be invoiced by e-mail. The fee for an entry form is $60 per event per calendar year.

You may also place an Adobe file of your entry form online for the same fee. If possible, please limit your file size to approximately 100KB to facilitate faster downloads.

How can I get my race course certified?

USATF certification for your race course is strongly recommended.

Typical certification fees for a 5K race distance are in the range of $300 to $400. Longer distances cost more.  There are other expenses such as 1)setting up a calibration course close to your race (if there is not already one nearby) and 2)registration fees which are due to the USATF upon filing of the paperwork.

USATF course certification is good for 10 years as long as there are no construction changes to the roadway where your course is located.

ArkansasRunner.Com can put you in touch with experienced USATF course certifiers throughout the state.
